Social Media is the place to be when you run a business. But as an entrepreneur, it can be time-consuming. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞 5️⃣ 𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚:
1️⃣ 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞. For me it’s twice a week – Monday and Thursday on LinkedIn
2️⃣ 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡. Basically, it’s a table with the date in one column and the subject of the post in another.
3️⃣ 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐚 𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞. I try to have at least 2 posts in advance. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫. So I can start the week without stressing about posting on LinkedIn.
4️⃣ 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐯𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬. Examples of templates: event, discount, media exposure, partnership, …
5️⃣ 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥. Because I have only 2 posts per week on LinkedIn, I publish them manually. But it can be useful to use a scheduling tool. Meta Business Suite (yeah Facebook), Canva, Hubspot, Onlypult, AgoraPulse. You name it.
